Sorry for being MIA

I am sorry for not being around lately.

YES im still on NS...
YES its still working.

I am at 143lbs now.

Its just been a little bit crazy around here.
WE do foster care and we got 2 placements so I have had 7 kids in the house which is why its been hard to get on here to blog.

The new NS plan rolled out today and while I have not yet changed my plan to include the protein shakes, I am not in anyway upset about it.

I use protein shakes alot and like them but for now will use my own since I still have so much to use up.

Monday weigh in and yay!

Okay its Monday November 7, 2011. I have reached my first 10 pounds goal! yay!

144.0

Starting weight was 156!

By the way I loved the chicken pot pie! I must be weird bc I hear noone likes it!
NS egg scramble! I love this meal bc its so filling!

NEW puppy = not bloggin! lol

Okay once again I have an excuse for being MIA on my blog!
I have not been MIA on my NS plan though.

I am down to 146.5 as of MOnday that is 9.5 lbs so far!!! yay

I made a new shake today
with spinach and bananna and frozen strawberries with PP and almond milk , it was yummo!

Our new puppy max, he is another bichon poodle! such cute doggies!

October 17th, 2011

Today was my weigh in.
I am down to 148.5.
Its coming off slow but again that is okay with me as I know that is the best way to do it.
I still really enjoy the NUTRISYSTEM foods.

2 new NS meals today

For breakfast I made this ricotta bake ( another spin on a popular NS website recipe)
1 NS Blueberry Pancake Mix
2 tsp  splenda ( truvia- 2 packets)
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup no sugar added canned cherry pie filling
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/3 c buttermilk

Filling:
2 tbsp light ricotta cheese
2 tsp Splenda ( i used truvia and just one tsp)
1 tsp pancake mix(dry, reserved from mix above)
1/4 cup no sugar canned cherry pie filling




Combine all the batter ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased single serving casserole dish. Mix the ricotta, Splenda, and pancake mix together and drop it into the centre of the batter.  bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.  let cool at least 10 minutes
I drizzled sugar free syrup ontop


For a snack today I had this spaghetti squash bake with 1/4 cup part skim mozarella and 1/2 serving turkey pep.


Warmed in microwave. It was yummo!

I have not blogged in a week. Im finding it hard to make the time!!! grrr
im only down another half pound but again ill take it.
I need to refocus and make sure im 100% on track this week. I have alot of "food event" this week.

Weight is 150. that is no loss for the week. Im not discourage though and will just keep pressing on. My goal for next Monday is 148. Lets see if I make it?

Thursday? WHAT? where did the week go?

Hey guys...
here are my eats from yesterday.

Breakfast- Cinamon bun NS with an apple. milk

Lunch- NS peanut butter bar ( yummy) I also had greek yogurt with crushed pineapple and sugar free pistacio pudding powder mixed in.

Snack- prunes and string cheese.

Dinner-
NS Wedged potatoes and beef tips. ( actually really liked this alot and will be adding more to my next order)
Dessert- NS pep patty.

I cant remember what else but that was the basics



Oh wait...I had a huge egg white scramble with zuchinni, onion and tomatoes

B- NS southern bisquit and sausage gravy with turkey sausage and green peppers

Review- Dr Pepper 10...MEH! its was only okay and I prob wont drink the rest. Its very rare I drink diet soda but if I do Ill stick to Diet Dr Pepper. This was too sweet for me!


The rest of the day went as follows.
Lunch NS tuna salad with pretzels
apple
prunes and string cheese for a snack

Dinner- Egg whites with mushrooms and zuchinnie fries

Dessert- NS brownie.
Cant remember if I forgot anything


OH WAIT YES! Yesterday was my weight in

150lb!
YAY down another pound! :)
only a one pound loss , but Ill take it

Breakfast was NS apple scone with cottage cheese and raisins....latte sugar free from sheetz


Lunch- THis was amy first time with this bar. It was good not bad at all but not my favorite.  Also, not pictured a salad with 2 oz grilled chicken

Dinner- I did shrooms, onions, tomatoes in 1T greek yogurt and mustard with the NS chicken breast

Hey so today has been a good eating day.
For breakfast i had the NS cereal with 1/2 bananna and 4 oz skim milk.

I had NS trail mix bar for lunch and it was also very good.
2nd lunch ( haha) was grilled chicken over salad

Snack- my bananna soft serve

Dinner- NS mushroom risotto- so yummy with mixed veggies

3 prunes

Dessert- Pep patty

Its friday friday friday!





Wait i didnt eat the baby but she is so cute and I had to put her in this post. I watch her daily . This is my niece JIllian!





Breakfast was the NS cinnamon bun. I did microwave it and it was good but I think not as satisfying as some of the other NS meals. I also had egg whites and spinach with it. I am full but not my favorite breakfast meal so far.

Lunch I had the NS fudge graham bar! um can we say YUMMO
i seriously loved this bar. About an hour later after I worked out I had a salad with 2.5 oz chicken breast on it.

Afternoon snack was my favorite banana soft serve with 1 tsp pb and 1/2 servings protein powder. YUMMO. I never get sick of this...You have got try it if you still havent.

Dinner was NS pizza and a side of mushrooms.
I had half each of the NS popcorn and NS "mm's" for dessert

WOW what a week I have had....I keep my niece she is 4 months old.
I also had to plan an entire soccer team dinner for my 14 yr old and make 2 cakes this week. Im a hobby cake decorator. I know not the best hobby for someone trying to lose these last 20 pounds right?

Anyway, I will be up and posting food photos tomorrow .

I will say that I tried the peanut butter jelly bar today.....hmmmm much too sweet and was not fond of the "jelly". I dont like grape jelly though. I prob should not have ordered 3 of these.
